The many and various visitor facilities in this city are both well known and widely publicised. From buildings and structures of historic significance to displays of art and culture or sporting events, this place has it all - and the large majority within 10 minutes taxi ride or an invigorating 20 to 30 minute walk from the Aymer Guest House.
Close by, within 5 minutes walk, is Hove's pedestrianised shopping area and plenty of restaurants serving a variety of international cuisine. Hove Museum, the Sussex County Cricket ground, the King Alfred Leisure Centre, Bowling Greens, Tennis Courts and Mini-golf are also located nearby. Slightly further away are the Royal Pavillion, the Famous 'Lanes' where numerous antique shops are found, the Palace Pier, numerous parks and gardens, Brighton Marina, the Greyhound Stadium, several excellent golf courses and many other facilities devoted to the pursuit of pleasure.
Theatres, cinemas, art galleries, museums and a recently refurbished concert hall, can all be found at the Brighton end of the City where a host of cultural events take place throughout the year but especially in the summer season during which time the Brighton Festival also takes place.
